This Senior Management position is responsible for the efficient and effective development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that deliver the company�s products/services, with specific oversight of Supply Chain/Distribution, Quality, Purchasing and Facilities. This position also contributes to strategic planning, evaluating acquisitions and business development. This position may also serve as a Board Member of the Integrated Supplier Alliance joint venture. |
| Duties: | Develops policies and procedures for operational processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations.
Marshal limited resources for the most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum value for the company's stakeholders.
Lead by developing and cascading the organizations strategy/mission statement to the lower ranking staff, and implementing appropriate rewards/recognition and coaching/corrective practices to align personnel with company goals.
Plan by prioritizing customer, employee and organizational requirements.
Maintaining and monitoring staffing, levels, Knowledge-Skill-Attitude (KSA), expectations and motivation to fulfill organizational requirements
Drive high level key indicators and performance measures for the measurement of the operation's performance and consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness.
Supervises the managers of Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain/Distribution and has functional responsibility for the same at all other sites.
Oversees forward stocking locations worldwide.
Directly supervises the facility Facilities Manager
Oversees preparation and control of departmental annual budget.
Facilitates Distribution Development committee
Has overall responsibility for inventory and achieving corporate Inventory Turns goal in conjunction with Fill Rate performance.
Oversees deployment of Continuous Improvement, Lean and ISO 9001:2008 initiatives by the Director of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement and Distribution Manager.
Participates as member of Executive Improvement Team (EIT).

| Qualifications: | Master�s degree (M.S.) in Business or Supply Chain Management.
Ten years related experience and/or training in aerospace concepts, practices and procedures; distribution and supply chain; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be knowledgeable and understand modern management theories (Total Quality Management, Kaizen, Lean), process/quality improvement techniques (business process reengineering, Six Sigma, SPC) and quality process standards (ISO 9001).
