| Description: | This position performs a variety of duties, including shipping product to the customer by using UPS and Fedex Worldship systems, inspecting, packaging, and counting the product before shipment is complete, and performing daily cycle counts. |
| Duties: | • Receives (inbound), ships (outbound), and otherwise counts, handles, and reviews documentation of inbound and/or outbound product.
• Visually Inspects a variety of small, manufactured aerospace components.
• Operates various shipping equipment and programs (i.e., UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Enters data into mainframe computer system.
• Requires product count validation.
• Reviews supplier certification for compliance to purchase order requirements.
• Interfaces with quality assurance and other distribution personnel.

| Qualifications: | Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good communication and problem solving skills for working in a team oriented environment. Any previous inspection or aerospace industry related experience is a plus. Must have basic computer knowledge. Typing ability preferred.

• Works in a warehouse environment with light manufacturing and packaging materials present.
• Is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Is frequently required to stand, reach, and use hands to handle.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
