| Description: | Repair and/or assemble small aircraft components on a daily basis. Order parts for repairs and assemblies. Document repairs and assembly work. Use hand tools and shop power tools. Read blueprints. Perform testing and interpret results. |
| Duties: | * Complete maintenance in accordance with approved data.
* Perform maintenance using complete, current technical data applicable to the work being performed.
* Record complete, accurate data as required by Repair Procedure Travelers.
* Ensure compliance with QAP�s and other applicable data.
* Ensure that equipment, tooling, measuring and test equipment, are in proper working order and are within calibration prior to use.
* Verify and maintain traceability of purchased material.
* Inspect subcontracted materials and processes to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
* Ensure that new parts are approved parts as defined by AC21-29.
* Verify life-limited components and materials are within the manufacturer�s recommended life prior to use and record the cure dates of components on the traveler.

| Qualifications: | Mechanically minded. Ability to understand and follow instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. High School diploma or GED. |
