| Duties: | Reporting to the VP of Sales, this position, based out of Atlanta, GA, will represent Wencor and Dixie Aerospace on-site at a major airline customer.
General responsibilities include the following:
� Identify new business development potential � PMA and Distribution Parts
� Work with airline engineering and maintenance personnel as well as Wencor and Dixie Aerospace engineering to identify product improvements
� Interface with airline maintenance, engineering, and supply chain departments daily
� Manage airline purchase orders and inventory status
� Address receiving and quality issues
� Analyze data and sales reports on a weekly basis
� Prepare bid responses and proposals
� Address payment and accounting issues as needed
� Work with airline and Wencor/Dixie engineering to identify new PMA part opportunities.
� Submit PMA part packages and coordinates through the customer approval process.
� Manage contract performance and reports status internally and externally
� Act as the customer point of contact for all warranty issues and customer satisfaction

| Qualifications: | � Ability to read, analyze, and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogs, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations (ie. FARs).
� Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
� Ability to effectively present information, respond to customer questions, and communicate with frontline mechanics, engineers, as well as executive level management.
� Comfortable in both the shop environment as well as a boardroom setting.
� Technical understanding of aircraft operation and maintenance.
� Knowledge of aircraft component and system functionality.
� An understanding of manufacturing and machining concepts & terminology.
� Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
� Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Aerospace preferred.
� Five years related aerospace technical experience.
� Experience working at or interacting with an airline�s technical operations is beneficial. |
