The Product Line Manager for Standard Hardware will be responsible for Wencor's marketing and sales success in its aersospace hardware product line. This entails aerospace nuts, bolts, screws, washers, riverts, fittings, and other hardware manufactured to AN, AS, ASN, MS, NAS and other aeronautical and military specifications. The candidate will focus on parts, customers competition, pricing contracts, and other operational and marketing activities related to Wencor's hardware business. The candidate should have substantial experience in buying, managing and marketing this product line. |
| Duties: | �Manages all aspects of a particular line of products.
�Champions sales and profits through pricing, market identifying, technical and business training, and inventory management.
�Understands, trains, and ensures that Wencor has market intelligence (competition, customers, and pricing).
�Understands the customers (their fleet and maintenance, scope, and product penetration).
�Monitors and manages initial stocking levels. Keeps optimum stock level to balance customer satisfaction and ROI.
�Trains on technical aspects of product line, NHA application, and business aspects.
�Supports sales representatives with proposals, technical documentation, and customer contracts.

| Qualifications: | Experience: 5+ years experience in buying, planning, marketing or other business development of aerospace standard hardware. Need to have a high propensity for mechanical concepts. Experience as a manufacturer's representative or in technical sales is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Markerting or related degree.
Analytical Skills: Need to have strong skills working with Word, Excel Powerpoint and Access. Ability to understand and work with databases and data mining. |
